Dana Way Residence
The owners of this home loved the area, just not the existing house. In order to maximize the footprint of the new home, a large portion of the existing home was retained. Had the existing house been bulldozed, the setbacks on the lot would have resulted in a much smaller home. We retained the location of the garage, as well as the existing fireplace and backyard pool while giving the home a completely new Louisiana style with the addition of a second floor with balcony and large outdoor pergola in the rear.
